BEAMIDE aims to develop advanced tools to deepen the understanding of the effects of radiation on various components, which in turn find applications in different fields: from medicine to space, from nuclear to IT.
The main project is MRADSIM. A software equipped with a user-friendly graphical interface that allows every user to simulate the effects of radiation on electronic and electromechanical devices. MRADSIM stands out for its ability to make even the most complex simulations accessible and understandable, enabling users to analyze and improve them in terms of precision and reliability.
In addition to MRADSIM, BEAMIDE is engaged in a series of projects related to the research and development of radiation detectors, such as the creation of multi-use personal dosimeters and more complex detectors intended for both medical and space applications.
BEAMIDE does not limit itself to research and development: the company also provides RHA testing (Radiation Hardness Assurance), in accordance with ESA standards, and thermo-vacuum testing (Thermal Vacuum Testing).
Team members are fully available to provide consultation and support in every area of expertise: from testing services to MRADSIM simulations, and radiation mitigation.

BEAMIDE was founded in 2021 in Perugia as a spin-off of the Italian National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN), obtaining official recognition from INFN’s Tech Transfer National Committee. The partnership with INFN is formalized through a collaboration contract focused on the MRADSIM project.
BEAMIDE works in close partnership with the Turkish company IRADETS, both for the development and sale of MRADSIM and in other research and development projects. Founded at Istanbul Teknopark, IRADETS A.Ş. is a startup specialized in nuclear physics and technology projects, promoting innovation with high-value solutions and products. It supports the advancement of science and technology at both the national and international levels through its team of experts, providing services, solutions, and consulting for the aerospace, medical, and defense industries.
